Established in 1994, the Trust provides a range of specialist mental health services to nearly 800,000 people from all age ranges across central and east Norfolk and North Suffolk. The Trust also provides secure services to the whole of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. We are a significant employer within the local community employing approximately 2200 staff.
Many of our services, especially in-patient services, are centred around the city of Norwich and the coastal towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. However, our staff also provide a range of services in a variety of settings and community locations throughout the catchment area. This reflects the complexity of the services we provide and the urban and rural nature of the locality.
We work in partnership with other statutory and non-statutory bodies that provide services to people suffering mental ill health and are currently working with Social Services to bring about a partnership Trust.
The hospitals covered by the Trust include:
Bethel Child and Adolescent Directorate, Mary Chapman House, Hotblack Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR7 0HT
