The Lewisham Hospital NHS Trust was formed on 1 April 1993. The Trust comprises University Hospital Lewisham, The Children's Hospital Lewisham and Dunoran Home (a residential nursing home in Bromley). The Trust manages approximately 650 beds and currently employs around 2,500 staff.
Recently, the Trust has undergone a huge capital investment programme. We have invested in new and modern facilities which include a new purpose-built Women and Children's Wing and improved A&E facilities. We have also bought high-tech equipment for departments and wards throughout the hospital and have refurbished existing facilities to ensure patients feel comfortable in their surroundings.
