Job overview

Due to the expansion of the Endoscopy and Treatment Unit an exciting opportunity has arisen within a busy unit for a highly motivated Staff Nurse to join our friendly and dynamic team. 

We operate a 6 day week service Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm and occasional evening clinics.

The successful candidate will be required to work in all clinical areas of the department and will be expected to participate in the on call rota to provide a 24 hour service.

Experience in working in the Endoscopy Unit is desirable however full training will be given. The post holder should have a broad range of clinical skills, have excellent organisational skills, be innovative, self-motivated, flexible and willing to cover the service. You will be supported in your role by the Unit manager.

Main duties of the job

To work as part of the multidisciplinary team in providing a high quality service meeting the physical and emotional requirements for both inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures within the Endoscopy and Treatment Unit.

To work within the Clinical Governance Programme

Whilst supporting other members of staff to deliver a quality service.
