We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients across various departments within the hospital. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering patient-centred care.

Wincanton Community Hospital boasts a fabulous rural location and a great place to work. We are situated in the heart of Wincanton, Somerset, we offer good staff facilities including rest room, free staff car park &  changing facilities.

The ward has 14 inpatient beds set out in a mixture of side rooms and ward bays. We offer rehabilitation and sub acute medical intervention.

We welcome nurses with a range of experience, from working in nursing homes to working in the community, we will value the skills you'll bring and offer you development and training within the role. There is an expectation that hours are worked flexibly which includes nights and weekends.

We are interested in hearing from people who are enthusiastic, dynamic and forward thinking who have experience of working in a team. With the patient at the centre of all you do, you will require good communication skills, be assertive and provide a high standard of nursing care with the support of the Ward Sister.

We are confident that once you’ve seen what we can offer you won’t want to leave - informal visits/chats always welcome.
