Maternity Systems Digital Midwife Band 6 - 0.5 WTE. 

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) are seeking a passionate and dedicated Midwife Digital Midwife to play a pivotal role within the Maternity systems digital team.

The post holder will collaborate closely with the digital maternity team to fulfil the digital requirements at DBTH to ensure that the service's requirements are effectively addressed.

The maternity department prides itself on innovation, quality improvement and staff health and wellbeing to enable high quality care to be provided to women and families

Main duties of the job

  • Work with the support from the Lead midwife to provide regular updates and progress reports on ongoing development priorities and goals and their intended clinical impact, including any financial implications.

Qualifications/training

Essential criteria
  • NMC registration as a midwife
  • • Provide evidence of continuous professional development, documented within CPD portfolio.
  • • Information technology skills (e.g. Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Datix Risk Management system).
  • • Mentorship/teaching qualification
Desirable criteria
  • • Masters level qualification in related subject area or willing to work towards
  • • IT qualifications or recent training.
  • • Quality Improvement Methodology Training
