Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Hospital Foundation Trust aims to be a hospital of choice for patients and GPs and an employer of choice. Our vision is:
“To provide high-quality patient-centred care for our local population and those using our specialist services, delivered by a modern workforce in a range of settings along integrated pathways of care.”
We want our staff to live our ‘proud’ values and be :
- Putting patients first
- Responsive to, and supportive of, patients and staff
- Open, welcoming and honest
- Unfailingly kind, treating everyone with respect, compassion and dignity
- Determined to develop our skills and continuously improve the quality of care
Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust is a major teaching hospital which provides not only general acute hospital services for our local community – for example, A&E, surgery, medicine, maternity and children’s services – but also a range of nationally and internationally renowned specialist services to patients from a much wider area.
The Trust runs two main hospitals:
- Chelsea and Westminster Hospital
- West Middlesex University Hospital
We are also providing an increasing number of services in the community – for example, dermatology and gynaecology – as changes in healthcare mean that more care is available closer to where people live rather than in hospitals.
Our specialist HIV and sexual health services are provided not only on the Chelsea site, but also at 56 Dean Street in Soho, the West London Centre for Sexual Health at Charing Cross Hospital, and in a range of community outreach settings.
