These are exciting times for the eating disorder services, given the overall direction of the NHS transformation and with even more emphasis on delivering specialist care.
About the team
We are a specialist service with experience working with severe/complex eating disorders. Our multidisciplinary team can provide mental health support and dietetic sessions alongside psychological therapy.
About the role
The post is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Community Adult Eating Disorders Service to ensure safe and effective delivery of services. Working jointly with the Service Clinical Lead, the post holder will implement service developments in line with the national program of transformation of Community Mental Health including services for people with disordered eating. The post will consult with key stakeholders in the spirit of collaborative co-production to meet Trust objectives, and positively reinforcing the expectations of the organization through dynamic management and leadership that is both supportive and encouraging in nature to enable the team to adapt to key changes smoothly.
About the location
The team is based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. However, this is a county-wide service and the team uses satellite bases when required.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
