Community Nurse

Band 5

West London NHS Trust provides a full range of mental health, community and physical healthcare services for children, adults and older people living in the London boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow.

We also provide some specialist services that are commissioned regionally, such as our medium secure services; and nationally, such as the Cassel Hospital for people with complex and severe personality disorder and our high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital.

Essential criteria

Level 1 Registered Nurse- with valid registration with the NMC - RN1, RNA
Experience or recognised qualification in areas such as: • Tissue Viability or wound management • Leg ulcer management • Doppler assessment  Health Promotion  Care of the elderly  Medical/surgical

Experience

Essential criteria

Recent experience of Nursing at Level 5, or evidence of a back to nursing programme

Desirable criteria

Experience of working in the community setting
One years worked post registration experience in a relevant setting, e.g. care of the older person, community services, wound management care
Supervision of junior staff
