What We're Looking For:
• Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities.
• Experience of working in supported living
• A compassionate approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g. Level 2/3 diploma in care or equivalent)
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early, late, night, sleep in’s, weekends, and public holidays.
• A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care

Successful candidates will have completed the Health and Social Care Level 2 NVQ/diploma or have equivalent experience. We’ll ensure you get the correct training and qualifications.
This post requires shift work as we provide support over a 24/7 basis. You must be able to work a variety of shifts including nightshifts, weekends, and public holidays.
All applicants will hold a L2 or Level 3 Diploma / NVQ in healthcare, or possess skills, knowledge, and experience to an equivalent level. Where the applicant does not possess the actual qualification, the Trust requires all applicants to commit to beginning this (or a Level 3 qualification) within 6 months of commencing in post unless extenuating circumstances exist.

Fixed Term Contracts for existing NHS Employees – temporary contracts for employees of LYPFT, or colleagues joining from another NHS Trust, will be offered on a secondment basis wherever possible. In the event this is not possible, an FTC would be issued and this would require a break in service of two weeks.

The purpose of a temporary is role could be for maternity cover, temporary funding or some other reason. At the end of which the need for the temporary work will cease. Temporary roles can stop, be extended and/or made permanent at any point during the period of work. Should the role become permanent then the post-holder will be informed of the process to be followed to convert the position to a permanent one.

All new employees are required to subscribe to the DBS Update Service.

About the role

Do you thrive on coordinating complex medicine pathways across acute and mental health settings? As a Specialist Pharmacist - Homecare and Biologics, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, managing and developing homecare service and ensuring access and appropriate use of biologics and high cost medicines in our acute care settings in Noble’s Hospital, Ramsey & District Cottage Hospital and Mental Health Services.
