We have the rare opportunity to offer a substantive role within our Memory Assessment Service sitting under the Older Adult Fylde Coast Portfolio, for a band 7 Team leader. 
Memory Assessment Services aim to offer a comprehensive assessment, timely diagnosis and early access to treatment – the role of the team leader is integral to this process. 

We are looking to appoint a confident, dynamic and committed leader who will have proven experience and skill for managing and leading a team with compassion, efficiency and be an effective communicator, who is able to demonstrate a solution focussed approach, alongside a ‘’can do’’ attitude. 

Please note the successful candidates will be required to present a 10-minute presentation on “Your top priorities during the first 90 days.”

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

To provide first line management for Fylde Coast Memory Assessment Service, a designated geographical locality within services delivered by Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Trust.

The post holder will lead and be accountable for the day-to-day operational management, performance and budgetary responsibility for the Memory Assessment Service with the Fylde Coast Locality Network as delegated by the Service Manager.

The post holder will deliver clinical interventions and clinical supervision.

The post holder will support the Service Manager by providing leadership to the service to deliver high quality and high performing clinical service.

The successful candidate will take a lead on driving improvements, providing evidence based qualitative reports in meeting the national dementia strategy and ICB expectations, and working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider community.

  • Core Mental Health Profession i.e. RMN, SW, OT.
  • Registration/Membership of professional body.
  • Degree in health-related area or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.

Knowledge

  • Extensive experience in and knowledge of MAS national and local service requirements and an ability to develop the service to reflect the requirements.
  • Detailed understanding of the key performance indicators in MAS services and how they relate to clinical practice.
