Trosolwg o'r swydd
Take your paediatric nursing career to the next level at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Based at St Mary’s Hospital, a major acute and trauma centre for North West London, you’ll join a forward-thinking team delivering high-quality care across two dynamic paediatric wards.
You’ll be working across two key areas: Great Western Ward and Westway Ward.
Great Western Ward is a 22–25 bedded unit caring for children from neonates to young adults. As a specialist centre for trauma, infectious diseases and haematology, we manage complex cases and acute trauma admissions from ED, as well as step-downs from PICU and NICU. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver expert care in a fast-paced environment.
Westway Ward is our dedicated day surgery unit covering ENT, trauma and orthopaedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, and plastics amongst other ambulatory activity. This role offers excellent leadership development opportunities, including team management, rostering, MDT participation, pre-assessment clinics, and policy development within surgical specialities.
We offer tailored training supported by clinical nurse educators, with access to leadership programmes, specialist courses (e.g. diabetes, EPALS, surgical pre-assessment), and quality improvement initiatives. Clinical exposure includes high dependency care, respiratory, epilepsy, allergy/immunology, diabetes, mental health crisis, and more.
