About our team

Our Paediatric Planned Care team is proud to be part of #TeamMKUH. We are a supportive and collaborative team who place children and families at the centre of everything we do. As a Sister/Charge Nurse you will be a visible clinical leader and role model, supporting junior staff and students while helping to maintain a positive, compassionate and learning-focused environment.

Leadership and development opportunities

This role offers the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills while supporting the day-to-day running of the Paediatric Outpatient Department and wider planned care services. Working closely with the senior paediatric team, you will contribute to service improvement, quality initiatives and the development of pathways that support children and families to receive care closer to home.

You will also play an important role in supporting staff development, mentoring colleagues and helping to shape the future of paediatric planned care within Children’s Services at MKUH.

We welcome applications from experienced paediatric nurses who are passionate about leading teams, supporting colleagues and delivering excellent care for children and young people.
