We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting and challenging opportunity to become part of our compassionate, dedicated and patient centred Site Management team. We are looking to appoint a Matron  for Clinical Site Management based at Ysbyty Gwynedd  Hospital. 

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about leading the team to deliver safe, effective clinical care to patients thus making a positive difference to the patient’s experience. As Deputy Head of Site you will ensure that all services are delivered in line with agreed performance, financial and government objectives whilst ensuring the workforce are professionally led and managed in order to develop a highly motivated and empowered team.

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate strong operational management skills with a positive “can do” attitude, be a clinical expert and will possess an in-depth understanding of service functionality and improvement. They will be able to demonstrate an absolute passion for excellence in patient care, be an inspirational leader with high level of clinical credibility. Candidates will have a proven track record of change management and demonstrate excellent leadership skills to take the nursing teams forward. The ability to identify and work collaboratively with wide range of stakeholders is a must.

 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will act as the professional lead, providing advice, leadership development, monitoring and management of all clinical site resources for general acute site flow services within the designated hospital site, to facilitate excellent flow, and team management whilst ensuring the delivery of a high quality, patient centred service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
