Job overview

We have exciting opportunities for a motivated HCSW to join our team.

Ward 3 is a 23 bed Acute Vascular Ward which is the Hub ward for all Vascular patients in North Wales. Caring for acutely ill patients in the pre operative, post operative and rehabilitation phases of their journey.

On Ward 3 we are passionate about our speciality staff are supported to advance their skills and learning as much as possible. We are a friendly and approachable team who treat all patients and colleagues  as we wish to be treated, ensuring safety, confidentiality, dignity and privacy at all times.

Teamwork is our priority, priding ourselves on providing evidence based, holistic and individualised care for our patients and their families.

Working on Ward 3 will give you the opportunity to become skilled and confident in caring for complex and acutely ill patients, along side those with extensive rehabilitation and social needs.

Main duties of the job

Assist the registered nurse/practitioner to deliver a high standard of holistic patient care, ensuring that the patients` dignity and equality is maintained at all times.

We specialise in the care of patients with Peripheral Arterial Disease which can require major surgery, complex wound care, close physiological monitoring and extensive rehabilitation. 

Teamwork is our priority, priding ourselves on providing evidence based, holistic and individualised care for our patients and their families.

Our staff are encouraged to continue to develop and progress to their full potential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
