Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a qualified and accredited DBT Therapist to work as part of the DBT team in the Harrogate and Ripon Community Mental Health Team.
If we are unable to appoint an accredited DBT therapist at band 7 level, we will also consider applicants for a training role at band 6. They will have experience of delivering psychologically informed interventions to people experiencing severe mental health problems in a secondary care setting. They will be required to have a strong demonstrable interest in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and to have completed DBT training with a licenced DBT training provider to either Foundation (five days) or Intensive (10 days) level. A willingness to engage in further study and practice towards eventual accreditation as a DBT therapist is essential. During training, placement outside the Harrogate locality may be required.
