We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity to join our dynamic and high-performing Gynaecology Assessment Unit (GAU). Our unit provides expert care to patients experiencing early pregnancy complications and acute gynaecological concerns.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Band 5 Nurse to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to women during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct Clinical assessments and initiate appropriate investigations
· Request and perform diagnostic tests to support accurate diagnoses
· Administer medications safely and effectively
· Provide sensitive emotional support to patients and their families
· Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and empathetic care

Essential criteria
- Adult Nurse with a current NMC registration
- Evidence of recent and ongoing professional development CPD and revalidation
Desirable criteria
- Mentorship qualification or recognised equivalent, i.e. ENB 998, C&G730, SLAiP
KNOWLEDGE & NATURE OF EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria
- Knowledge or interest in Women’s Health
- Relevant Adult nursing experience
Desirable criteria
- Experience in Early pregnancy care
ANALYTICAL AND JUDGEMENT SKILLS
Essential criteria
- Able to think and work within rapidly changing environment
- Able to plan and prioritise daily workload to ensure high quality and safe care for all patients
- IT skills to manage clinical systems
