Generic Research Nurse - South

Are you ready to take your career in a new direction? Have you ever considered using your nursing clinical skills in a different setting? Are you an experienced research nurses looking to learn different specialities and willing to travel.

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join the Clinical Research Network West Midlands (CRN WM) and offers the right candidate the opportunity for personal and professional development and ongoing education

The post holder will join a team of senior staff working across the network, with a focus in the geographical region of the West Midlands South area, including but exclusively to the following trusts: University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust, Worcester Acute Hospital NHS Trust, Wye Valley NHS Trust, George Eliot NHS Trust, South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust & Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, organisational and time management skills. These individual should be team player, able to cope with pressure and have a flexible approach to their work. They will ensure that clinical studies are conducted according to ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines for Research, for which training will be given as required. They need to be proactive and able to work independently within the team to deliver on NIHR portfolio studies within deadlines to achieve given NIHR targets.

This is an opportunity for an experienced registered nurse, with at least two years nursing experience. Previous research experience would be an advantage, however Registered Nurses who can demonstrate a wide skill base will be considered.

The post will require the applicant to be flexible in their working hours/pattern and to travel routinely within the South Region of the Network.
