Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated nurses to join our friendly team. We currently have one post at 37.5 hours per week. 

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive nurses to join our team, previous experience of anticoagulation would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given in all aspects of the speciality. This role is part community and travel to different Hospital sites and patients’ homes will be required.

A commitment to undertake the non-medical prescribing course is essential if certificate not already held.

 

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for delivering a high standard of specialist nursing care within the specialist Service and will support the CNS (Clinical Nurse Specialist) or Sisters in ensuring high standards of nursing 
care are provided to all patients receiving care in the specialty.

The post holder will be department based. The post holder will support the CNS/Sisters in providing professional advice to members of the 
multidisciplinary team; assist in developing the skills and knowledge of staff to deliver high quality care and achieve the performance targets for the specialty
