Please note, if applicable for your role you will be required to cover the cost of your DBS certificate. This will be deducted from your salary over 3 months. You will also be required to sign up to the DBS Update Service before commencement with the Trust.

All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust’s induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) in your own time prior to any unconditional offer being made.

An exciting 12 month secondment/fixed term opportunity to cover maternity leave has arisen in Solihull Home Treatment Team. This role is for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse.

The role will entail co-ordinating and providing specialist acute crisis psychiatric intervention and expertise to service users in crisis 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year within their own homes/residence.

In addition, the team provide a gate-keeping service to inpatient wards; facilitating early discharge and providing an effective and viable alternative to hospital admission for clients in crisis.
