You will also be expected to promote that care is delivered according to policies and procedure and based on best practice from national information, implementing change when appropriate / necessary. You will monitor and maintain the quality of the clinical environment with particular reference to Trust and Departmental Health and Safety and Infection Control.

You will also expected to assist in the development and implementation of the departmental policies and procedures and ensure compliance. On a daily basis you will help organise the daily allocation of work in conjunction with the team leader and other clinical leaders, taking into account the development needs of the staff.

Your educational responsibilities will be far reaching covering all staff on C2, ensuring mandatory training is up to date, as well as developing teaching strategies to promote and enhance the care that is provided to this patient group.
