Job overview

We are seeking  for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced urology nurse to join the exciting clinical nurse specialist team in benign urology.

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team that provides both surgical and medical treatment to people with bladder problems. This specialist area of benign urology covers investigation and treatment of benign conditions of the lower urinary tract, neuro-urology and reconstructive urology.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering evidenced based care, service development including treatment pathways and undertaking nurse led clinics in diagnostic and procedural clinics. Be responsible for provision of specialist education and training for patients, other staff and students. You will  also be working closely with other members of the multidisiplinary team.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate will demonstrate understanding of benign bladder conditions, care and management. You will demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment and be able to have skilled and sensitive conversations. You will provide clinical leadership, influencing others to provide the highest levels of safe and effective care and a positive patient experience.
