Breast Oncology Clinical nurse specialist

Band 7

There has never been a better time to join our Trust than now! We run three busy hospital sites at Peterborough, Huntingdon and Stamford and provide outpatient services in two community hospitals in Ely and Doddington. Our 6,000 staff serve a growing population of 750,000 across North Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Breast Oncology team at North West Anglia Foundation Trust – based at Peterborough Hospital.

This post will be working directly with the Breast MDT, supporting Oncologists and patients in clinics. Ideally you will be a nurse prescriber and confident to be trained to undertake nurse led clinics or at least a willingness to undertake the training to do so in the future. There will be strong working links with the Survivorship team to look at Patient centred follow up (PCFU) as well as other Specialist Nurses and the Robert Horrell centre.

This role will be of interest to someone with oncology or breast surgical experience who has an interest in specialising to enhance their clinical knowledge and skills. This is a great opportunity for someone to join the existing team including another Breast oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist who is already in post and make a real difference to patients on the breast cancer pathway.
