Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Caerdydd a’r Fro yw un o’r Byrddau Iechyd Integredig mwyaf yn y DU, yn cyflogi dros 14,000 o staff ac yn darparu dros 100 o wasanaethau arbenigol. An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our team .
Short Stay Surgical Unit is part of the Protected Elective Surgical Unit and provides facilities for day , overnight and longer stay patients. We have our own dedicated Theatre Suite which houses a Da Vinci Robot . This innovative Robotic approach to Surgery is currently used for Urological and ENT procedures. We are also responsible for the Out-Patient Ophthalmology Theatre providing Pre and Post operative care for patients' undergoing elective or emergency eye surgery.
The successful individuals will work in friendly and supportive team delivering the highest standard of pre and post operative care to patients across a broad spectrum of surgical specialities.
This is a very busy dynamic unit and you will need to be dedicated, hard working and flexible across all shift patterns.
An interest in or experience of nurse led discharge is essential .
This is a great opportunity to develop your surgical nursing career and build on existing knowledge, as we also have a practice education team who can help with your continual professional development.
