An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sister / Charge Nurse position on the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), Glangwili General Hospital. The ward is part of the unscheduled Care Directorate and incorporates the emergency admissions of medical patients to the hospital. The department has 24 ward beds, and a 10 chaired ambulatory care area.
This is an ideal development opportunity for an individual who is currently working at, or has previously worked as, a Band 6 or 7 clinical leader in an acute medical setting.
The successful candidate will need to be innovative, motivated and an excellent role model for the Health Board values. The post will allow you to develop and enhance your managerial and leadership skills and you will be supported by the Clinical Lead Nurse.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
