Due to the retirement of 2 of our Registered Nurse's, we are now looking to recruit motivated, enthusiastic and patient focused nurses who have an interest in Acute Cardiac and General Medicine.

Ward 4 is a 19 bedded cardiology/ medical ward, with a new 7 bedded ACS bay as part of the ward. This Acute coronary syndrome unit, has a short patient stay, as patients being treated for ACS are transferred to Morriston Hospital for angiogram +/- stent, and repatriated back to Prince Philip Hospital on the day of their procedure. We work closely with cardiac rehabilitation team and with other hospitals in Hywel Dda Health Board, to ensure an efficient and timely service for our cardiac patients.

A professional development programme will be focussed to meet individual and service needs to ensure that each nurse gains the necessary education and training. We here at Prince Philip Hospital fully commit in supporting employees on achieving the appropriate work life balance offering flexible opportunities and working hours.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering a high standard of care for our patients. Applicants will need to have a interest in Acute Cardiac and or General Medicine and have excellent communication skills and organisational skills.

Evidence of continuing professional development is essential.

The post will be Full Time/Part Time with night rotation.
