CWP has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced, motivated clinical professional with a passion for transformation within the Specialist Mental Health Care Group.

This role is key to the successful delivery of the ambitions outlined in the Long Term Plan for Mental Health, and the successful candidate will provide clinical leadership for Cheshire and Wirral and delivering the transformation process. 

This post is fixed term for 12 months due to funding. The successful candidate will be required to travel around various trust sites as part of the role.

The successful candidate will hold a core professional registration, and have a wealth of experience in transformation and quality improvement, with highly developed clinical skills with transferable skills that you can use to influence, negotiate and lead improvement activities across the Cheshire and Wirral area. 

You will be responsible for managing the coordination and delivery of multiple workstreams within the project in order to achieve the defined outcomes. You will work with the Heads of Operations, Heads of Clinical Services and Clinical Directors to manage and support the mobilisation and embedding  of clinical outcome measures within core mental health services. 

You will use a range of project and improvement  methodologies to ensure the project is appropriately scoped, planned and controlled to facilitate  successful completion within time, cost and quality tolerances.

  • Current registration with a relevant professional body
  • Demonstrable evidence of robust and extended continuous professional development
  • Post graduate qualification at Masters level or equivalent experience
  • Leadership qualification or equivalent experience
  • Qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience in Quality Improvement methodologies (QI)

  • Extensive knowledge of the healthcare system, including national, regional, and local policy drivers for mental health service provision
