Team leader supervising junior staff on Respiratory Unit.
New exciting opportunity to work within a newly created Unit which incorporates an 11 bedded Respiratory Support Unit.
Main duties of the job
General supervision and support.
Nursing care, medication administration, monitoring of daily audits, supervising and mentoring new and inexperienced staff.

Qualification
Essential criteria
- RN /RSCN Diploma or equivalent
- Post-registration qualification or evidence of further study.
- Teaching and assessing qualification 998 /997 / mentorship or equivalent Speciality knowledge.
Desirable criteria
- Degree or working towards
- Management qualification or equivalent
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Able to manage own workload and co-ordinate that of others.
- Speciality knowledge
- Basic knowledge of financial management within the clinical setting.
- Knowledge of professional and NHS issues and an understanding of corporate objectives.
- Basic IT skills in word processing/Hospital Systems
- To complete the Trust toolkit competencies
