Band 5 Staff nurse, Endoscopy Department up to 30 hours 12 months fixed term
Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Endoscopy Nursing provides you with a varied role. Hours will be considered to give you a work life balance. We aim to provide a high standard of care to all our patients. We are very excited to have moved into our new purpose built Endoscopy unit in mid June 2025.
Plus, we are keen to nurture and develop our staff. Many of our staff progress onto Nurse specialist roles or Trainee Nurse endoscopists. Endoscopy can provide this opportunity for you.
Dedicated quarterly training and well being days are protected for all our nursing team. Weekends and bank holidays are on a rota basis.
Main duties of the job
We are a dynamic team and training and development is high on our agenda on the unit. As well as diagnostic procedures we specialise in GI Bleeding emergency cases daily, ERCP and Respiratory lists twice weekly.

The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals.

- Registered nurse with active registration.

- Teaching qualification NST 307 or equivalent
- ENB 906 endoscopy nursing or equivalent.
