Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paediatric Nurse to join our Community Nursing Teach Team as Clinical Educator. We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Nurse who is compassionate , dynamic and has Paediatric clinical experience along with complex care experience.
Main duties of the job
Co-ordinate and organise annual training programme for education staff involved in the care of children with complex needs.
Working in partnership with training co-ordinator in the South of the county and deliver scandalised approach to training across the county.
Work collaboratively with all other agencies to promote the health, education and well-being of children with complex health needs and epilepsy.
Work as a team to deliver bespoke training to multi-agency staff caring for children with health needs as agreed.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- RSCN or Child Branch Qualification (or equivalent)
- ENB 998 or C&G 730 (or equvalent)
Desirable criteria
- Nursing degree (or Equivalent)
- Multi-agency and multi disciplinary work experience
Experience
Essential criteria
- Relevant experience in delievry of education and training
- Complex care experience
- Experience of caring for children with gastrostomies, tracheostomies and epilepsy
- Experience of advocacy for children
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience in community-based work
- Use of Epipens
Skills
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of Child Protection procedured
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable criteria
- Some understanding of budget management and invoicing
