Job overview

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for 2 new roles within our Older Adult Community Mental Health teams. This role is to work with our team managers to support operationally. The role will be 60% operational and 40% clinical. 

The posts will be across Chesterfield, Killamarsh, Bolsover and Clay Cross and Amber Valley and Erewash. (2 different posts)

This is a fixed term post of 12 months for external candidates or for internal candidates this is a 12 month secondment opportunity.) Please seek your current line managers permission before applying for this role. 

 

Main duties of the job

The role will provide operational support across workforce coordination, performance monitoring, quality improvement, incident and risk processes, complaints, service pressures, waiting list oversight and business continuity arrangements. The post holder will work closely with clinical leads, senior clinicians, administration colleagues and wider Care Group colleagues to support safe, caring, responsive, effective and well-led services.

 

The clinical element of the role may include undertaking initial assessments, supporting complex case management, contributing to system and pathway working, participating in multidisciplinary team discussions, and chairing or coordinating case meetings where appropriate. Clinical activity will be undertaken within the post holder’s professional registration, scope of practice, competence and agreed service priorities.

  • Registered MH Nurse
  • Diploma/Degree MH Nursing
  • Evidence of CPD
Desirable criteria
  • Management/leadership qualification

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience - Minimum of 3 years since qualifying.
Desirable criteria
  • experience of working within OA MH, CMHT's or NHS community Services

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Able to organise, prioritse and coordinate complex workloads
Desirable criteria
  • knowledge of CMHT pathways
