We are seeking a Bank advanced Clinical Practitioner  with a  professional registration of NMC or HCPC. 

*Please note this is not a trainee ACP post*

Main duties of the job

The post holder will apply advanced clinical expertise, levels of judgement, discretion and decision making to the provision of clinical care to adults and children in an urgent treatment setting.

They will exercise a high degree of autonomy through the application of advanced clinical skills in relation to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of adults and children.

You will apply advanced clinical expertise, levels of judgement, discretion and decision making to the provision of clinical care to adults and children, presenting with undifferentiated diagnosis both minor injuries and illness within a UTC setting.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
  • Minor Injuries Management Qualification or willingness to complete within 12 months
  • Level 7 V300 Non-Medical Prescriber
  • Minimum Level 7 module in physical examination and clinical reasoning.
  • Core Principles of Paediatrics in Primary Care and the Acute Sector

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of providing clinical leadership
  • Participating in a multi-professional team
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working within an urgent care setting
