We are looking for an enthusiastic & committed individual to undertake a Housekeeping assistant role within the Imaging Directorate. The Housekeeping Assistant is a relatively new concept to ensure patients & visitors are cared for in the best possible environment.

 This post offers an excellent opportunity to work as part of the Imaging team in the delivery of high quality patient focused cleaning, food & maintenance services for the area. Patient liaison is also an important element.

 To carry out this important role you will need to be hardworking, enthusiastic and have the ability to use your own initiative. Good communication skills, a caring and polite manner and a clean and tidy appearance are essential requirements, along with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Full training up to NVQ levels 1 & 2 will be given, in Cleaning and Infection Control.

 The hours of work will be 37.5 hrs per week

 The majority of the hours to be worked between 7.00am and 3.00pm, although some flexibility will be allowed.

 This post will require Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure
