An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 6 nurse to join our specialist Immunotherapy Service working both within a clinic setting and the AOS team. We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated nurse with a passion for oncology and a keen interest in immunotherapy.

The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team delivering care to patients undergoing immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment.

 This role is based within the Oncology Outpatients Department and the AOS team, and reports directly to the Lead Immunotherapy Nurse. You will be responsible for supporting the assessment, monitoring, and management of patients receiving immunotherapy, ensuring safe and effective care throughout their treatment journey.

• Provide specialist nursing care to patients receiving immunotherapy

• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care

• Monitor and manage treatment-related toxicities

• Support patient education and provide expert advice on immunotherapy treatment

• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiativesns. 

Work alongside the AOS team to manage these patients and their toxicities when arise
