Outstanding Career

The Day Surgery Unit is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Theatre Support Worker to complement our hard working team.

The Day Surgery Unit comprises of two day surgery theatres with attached ward and recovery areas, a Satellite unit at Weymouth Community Hospital comprising of one theatre with recovery and ward area, an Eye Day Case Ward Unit and also one procedure room suite performing procedures under Local Anaesthesia. The post holder will provide support to the Day Surgery Nurses in the delivery of all aspects of evidence based patient centered care in a safe effective and efficient environment and assist in the development of the departmental services.

The post will be up to full time hours working in both the ward and theatres. Full in house training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
