An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic registered nurses to join Endoscopy and Bowel Cancer Services Department within the trust. Endoscopy experience preferred but not essential This a fixed term 12 month post applicants must have current NMC PIN the role includes weekend and Bank Holiday working and participation on the 24/7 GI emergency on call rota
North Tees and Hartlepool endoscopy units are recognised for providing both high level quality care to our patients and exceptional learning opportunities for all members of the team .
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work within a multidisciplinary team and across clinical boundaries in support of patient care. Good communication is essential as you will be expected to communicate effectively with patients their relatives and carers and other professionals working in the trust.

working in procedure rooms assisting in therapeutic procedures

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- 1st level Registered Nurse/Degree/Diploma in Nursing with current NMC PIN
Desirable criteria
- Teaching and assessing qualification. Meets requirements for mentorship development
Experience
Essential criteria
- post registration experience in clinical practice Evidence of on-going professional development
Desirable criteria
- endoscopy experience
Skills/ aptitudes
Essential criteria
- Good time management and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team and independently using own initiative delegate appropriately
