Main duties of the job
The role will be required to:
* Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery weekdays 9-5.
* Advise on complex health issues, support staff wellbeing, and drive evidence-based practice.
* Oversee service development, quality governance, and policy implementation.
* Collaborate with senior leaders and partners to deliver innovative, effective solutions.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse
- Degree in nursing studies
- Postgraduate qualification in relevant nursing studies or equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
- Master’s Degree or equivalent knowledge in Occupational Health, skills and experience
Desirable criteria
- Prescribing qualification (V150) or in process of working towards this qualification with primary care focus
- Qualification in Leadership and Management
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Thorough knowledge and experience of the NHS
- Proficient computer use including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Project and Internet use
- Specialist knowledge of personnel
- Full understanding of relevant policy drivers in Occupational Health
- Full understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within identified clinical area
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of project management systems
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant demonstrable post-registration experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development that is relevant to the sphere of care
- Significant experience in a senior leadership role in a clinical environment
- Proven ability to formulate and implement strategic plans
- Understanding and ability to identify and support both service and cost improvement programmes
- Able to demonstrate development in practice and expertise
- Experience in chairing meetings
- Professional understanding of the treatment and care of clients in Occupational Health Settings and all related national guidance
- Experience of training health care workers and developing training plans
- Evidence of specialisation in a clinical area relevant to the post

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
