An opportunity has arisen for an experienced cancer clinical nurse specialist to work within the existing Macmillan Living With and Beyond Cancer Team based at Castle Hill Hospital.
The post holder will be required to work across sites according to the demands of the service and within Outreach Clinics held throughout the Humber Coast and Vale Cancer Alliance footprint. They will work closely with Site Specific Tumour Site teams to provide a timely and seamless transition into clinical monitoring follow up pathways to support the National Cancer Agenda in receiving care closer to home.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and pro-active individual who has an in-depth knowledge of; cancer pathways, side effect profile of cancer treatment modalities, clinical monitoring assessment and complex case management. The post holder must possess excellent communication skills.
** Salary relates to year 2 of 3 year NHS pay deal
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
