Job overview
Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are recruiting Nursing Assistants to Ophthalmology within our organisation. We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us on either a full-time or part-time basis.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the registered nursing team in providing direct high quality patient care. You will work under the supervision of the Senior Sister and in partnership with the registered nursing team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We actively support professional development, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain specialist ophthalmic knowledge and skills to deliver patient care to adults with a diverse range of chronic and acute eye conditions.
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to the delivery of high-quality patient focused care and be able to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team in order to promote service needs. Previous care experience in an Ophthalmic setting is desirable and excellent communication skills are essential.
