Whitby is a pretty traditional seaside town in North Yorkshire, situated on the east coast at the mouth of the River Esk.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

  • Assists qualified staff by undertaking personal care duties for patients.
  • Reports the patient condition to qualified staff.
  • Undertake delegated work of the multidisciplinary team to assist in the provision of individualised planned patient care under indirect supervision. Care tasks may include managing the day-to-day needs of patients by providing help with personal care, meals and mobility.
  • Work as part of a team which supports the operation of the ward 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will therefore be required to work shifts including nights, days and weekends

  • To have some understanding of Community nursing issues
  • Literate and numerate , IT Skills , emails, word etc
  • Willingness to complete all statutory and mandatory training for role.
  • Experience of working within a ward setting/healthcare setting
  • Patient centred approach, care plans
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment, flexible , work shifts.
  • Good communicator and team player
