Are you looking for a new challenge working within Osler ward in the department of medicine for older people.

If so you may be the person we are looking for. The Associate practitioner is a new exciting role within the Medical Division. It recognizes the skills that have been developed on courses such as the Foundation Degree and will see a blend of associate practitioners, who are highly skilled, working under the direction of the registered staff.(please read the JD for more details)

We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated Associate Practitioner’s to join our friendly, dynamic teams and we are able to offer flexible shift patterns.

Working in medicine for older people is rewarding and provides a good grounding in general medical conditions. Here at Basildon and Thurrock university hospital we aim to achieve excellence in the care of older people through innovative care pathways, evidence based medicine and cutting edge research into ageing and the delivery of care.

The ward is a 27 bedded ergonomically designed environment for medicine for older people and houses one of our dedicated reminiscence rooms.
