An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Orthopaedic Liaison service, based at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford.  This vacancy is predominantly working in pre-operative assessment clinics. The liaison service encompasses a variety of roles, pre-assessment clinics, trauma, elective ward rounds, and early discharge/ admission avoidance. The role will also include support and triage for post-operative patients in the community. The role will involve ensuring patients are fit for their surgery, so possession of the diagnostics course, or previous experience of pre-operative assessment would be an advantage. The post holder will need to have significant Orthopaedic experience, to be able to support patients in the community. The post holder must be a hold a full driving license and would need to have use of a car.
