An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Cardiac Angio Cath lab team at East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust, based at the Colchester site.

The post involves delivering excellent and individualised clinical care to our patients and their families, as well as taking on a leadership role within the nursing team. 

You will be working with the Cardiac Cath lab team and contributing to the care, treatment and recovery of patients requiring specific cardiac procedures. 

Do you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work confidently and collaboratively across professional boundaries? Are you keen and motivated to learn? Do you have excellent leadership qualities?

If so then we are looking for a highly motivated nurse who is passionate about the care of cardiac patients to join our cardiac cath lab team, in delivering an excellent service.

Applicants must  effectively manage and develop a nursing team and provide professional and clinical leadership in the delivery of high quality, safe, cost effective care of patients, families and staff.  The applicant must be able to deputise for the ward manager to ensure appropriate senior cover at all times and to work as a skilled member of the angiography nursing team in all areas of the department (recovery, cath lab area and pre-assessment).
