The EDI Agenda reflects the Trust values such as Optimistic, Appreciative and Kind. In line with the NHS Long Term Plan, People Plan, People Promise and a Model Employer intrinsic in the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Agenda, we consistently strive to improve, to take the learning into Action for a better ESNEFT.

Do you have a desire to learn and develop in the field of interventional cardiology? If so, we have the perfect job for you at The Ipswich Heart Centre.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and innovative individual, who has keen interest in an area that supports the delivery of coronary angiography, rotablation, stenting & cardiac implantable devices, to apply and be part of our progressive unit and multi-disciplinary team.
The Ipswich Heart Centre has 2 state-of-the-art catheterisation laboratories and 12 recovery beds. Previous cardiac or cath lab experience is desirable but not essential. We offer training and have competencies in place to enable you to rotate between our 12 bedded recovery area and Cath labs.
A visit to the department prior to the interview is strongly encouraged, so we can offer discussion of the post and an opportunity to observe the type of work performed by staff.
Hours of work are currently between Monday to Friday, and between the hours of 7am to 8pm, with a requirement to provide on-call cover. Shift patterns vary to meet the demands of the PCI service which is working towards delivering a 24/7 service.
