Trosolwg o'r swydd

This secondment is an opportunity to work in an area of Oncology where we treat patients coming into the Department for all areas of Oncology treatments

The successful candidate will be trained by our bespoke Practice Development team to enable you to administer supportive SACT treatments for our patients, or Chemotherapy/ Immunotherapies' if you are skilled to do so

This is a very varied role, and offering a wide level of learning

−      assess, plan, deliver and evaluate the nursing care of patients in accordance with UK law, the NMC code of conduct and the Trust values

−      act to protect the public, and be responsible and accountable for safe, person-centred, evidence- based nursing practice;

−      act on their understanding of how people’s lifestyles, environments and where care is delivered influence their health and wellbeing;

−      seek out every opportunity to promote health and prevent illness;

Working within our organisation, would enable you to work with a dynamic team of Nurses in a busy environment but yet in an environment with a calm approach.

We offer extremely good support for our staff to enable the candidate to gain all the experience and knowledge required

Preferred SACT trained but non SACT trained considered 

Cannulation

Phlebotomy

Administration of Chemotherapy/ Immunotherapies

Scalp cooling

SACT injections
