Community Psychiatric Nurse - Band 6

Older Persons

An opportunity has arisen for a caring and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse to work full time as a Band 6 Community Nurse within the Flintshire Community Mental Health Team for Older People.

Candidates must hold a positive attitude to the mental health care of the older persons client group and be able to ensure that individual's needs for privacy, respect, dignity and confidentiality are maintained at all times.

The successful candidate will provide high standards of skilled nursing care and work as part of a well established and supportive multidisciplinary team based at Wepre House in Connah’s Quay.

This post offers the opportunity to enhance the candidates’ skills in assessing an individual’s needs, strengths and risks in the community setting and create collaborative care and treatment plans with service users, carers and families in line with the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010.

The post is Full Time and is on a permanent basis.
