We are looking to recruit Clinical Support Workers, Higher Level (Band 3) to our dialysis unit at St Albans Hospital. We are a Nurse led unit and provide haemodialysis to the local community in a friendly, family orientated environment.

Haemodialysis is a speciality and therefore previous experience in a dialysis unit is essential for this post. You must have completed the renal unit training programme part 1 or equivalent and obtained all the relevant competencies. As well as having an NVQ/CQF level 2 in health and social care or equivalent. You will have the opportunity to develop further skills in direct care and treatment of patients undergoing haemodialysis 

We are committed to lifelong learning and actively encourage our staff to develop professionally as well as personally. There is a comprehensive in house renal training programme and you must be committed to undertaking and successfully completing the part 2 Renal Unit Training Programme and part 2 competencies. Willingness to successfully complete the level 3 apprenticeship and QCF in health and social care is also essential.
