Job overview

We are recruiting for Nurse Team Leader who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals with relevant experience in Elderly care, to come and work in a 30 bedded unit. 

As a Nurse Team Leader you will be required to deliver safe effective care for patients; Manage your team and deputise for the ward manager in their absence.

Main duties of the job

The role is within the Elderly Medicine department and will require the post holder to demonstrate a keen interest in Elderly medicine. The post Holder will be required to work effectively as part of an MDT and interpersonal skills will be essential for this role. 

You will be working on a 30 bedded unit. Providing care for Elderly patients, you will be directly involved in coordinating care to suit the physical, psychological and social needs of Elderly patients

The post holder will support and develop junior staff members; Serve as a role model and undertake management responsibilities to ensure the service operates at it optimum in the absences of their manager.
