We are recruiting for a number of Clinical Support Workers across the Trust who share our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holders will be expected to provide support and assistance to professionals in the implementation of care plans for individual patients.

Care Certificate Programme and Clinical Competencies to be completed over a specified 6 month period.

As a Clinical Support Worker, you will ensure patients receive a high quality of clinical care and a good patient experience.  We have a management team that is both innovative and proactive in ensuring that high quality care is delivered to our patients.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

As this is a New to care post, successful candidates will be supported to complete the Care certificate and clinical competencies that will allow them to undertake a range of delegated clinical care duties deliver to deliver agreed plans of care.

Provide excellent customer care skills to ensure patients come first.

To ensure patients receive high quality clinical care and a good patient experience, having regard for their customs, religious beliefs and doctrines.

Recognise and avoid situations that may be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of the individuals.

To act as an advocate for patients within the ward / department, to ensure a patient orientated approach to the delivery of care.
