We are recruiting for a Maternity Care Assistant who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

As a Maternity Care Assistant you will be responsible providing a range of care and ward/clinic duties to support women and their babies under the direction of a Registered Midwife.

The successful post holder will care for mothers and babies in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period within the hospital setting.

In addition you will maintain accurate, legible and contemporaneous records and communicate with all in a courteous and helpful way
