Job overview

Community Phlebotomist  - Orpington area

Band 2 - £29,179 Inclusive of HCAS

The post-holder will work as a member of the Integrated Community Team and will undertake phlebotomy duties within clinic settings, patients’ homes and residential homes as delegated across the borough of Bromley.

Typical duties & responsibilities include:

Provide phlebotomy services to patients in community clinics, at patients' homes and in residential homes.

Accurately & legibly label food samples, ensuring the correct phlebotomy equipment and blood bottles are used for requested samples.

Transport blood samples to designated collection points in with health & safety procedures.

Please note that you will need to hold a recognised Phlebotomy certificate to be shortlisted for this position.

Main duties of the job

This role will require the successful applicant to hold a full clean UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle to use for work, part of this role is seeing patients in their own homes so travel in your own vehicle is neccessary.
